Sun Microsystems for the “About …” screen of their VirtualBox virtualization solution.

At least with my Gentoo 2.6.26 Linux VirtualBox is much less of a hassle compared to Vmware Server. Vmware Server 1.x is not really supported with 2.6.26, at least there are no Ebuilds in Portage, since there are no patches for the required modules.

For the Vmware-Player 2.0.x there are some patches available, however these still need to be manually integrated.

VirtualBox has been a pretty pleasant experience so far. Emerge the packages, modprobe vboxdrv and you’re ready to go.
