While going through some stuff from a cupboard in the living room, which had accumulated over the years, my wife found these three beauties. These are scans from three postcards, which I received some time during 1991, when the Atari ST was still hot. At that time I created a reference card for the TOS (the Atari OS) library functions for the Atari ST GNU CC port, something based on the same TeX source, which created this XEmacs reference card. I declared this little bit of work postcardware. Whoever liked it, should send me a postcard and indeed I received three postcards from two senders.(Click on the pictures for a larger version)
There two are from a guy in Toulon, France.
And this one is from someone in Edmonton, Canada. It’s called “Eagle with Fish”, reproduced from a design by Freda Diesing from the Haida Indians. The sender writes: “Haida Indians, to which this design belongs, do not live around Edmonton, but on the West Coast. This is some 1500Km from here. In Canada this does not mean local, but still rather close. Say, next neighbours.” I like this design very much.
